

Yep, checked wikipedia which tends to confirm my thoughts that not all apple ][e supported double high res, it required an upgrade offered by Apple.

Off of the top of my, I honestly can only think of one game that supported double high res, Sierra's King's Quest which also had a lower res version, so. It intermixes calls to SDL throughout the emulation core making it a non-trivial port.Hardly any games use double high res, and IIRC most of them also support the 'normal' resolutions as well. The candidate (I think it was linapple) did not have a clear separation of emulation and platform interface. The other obstacle is the actual emulator codebase. This presents an issue for the "Double-High-Resolution: 560×192 (16 colors)" mode since the LCD on the GO is 320x240.
